The rules for using Darskoum, in plain language.

Agreement to these terms

By creating an account or otherwise using Darskoum, you agree to these terms. If you are creating an account on behalf of a school, company or other organization, you are confirming that you have the authority to accept these terms for that organization.

Who can use Darskoum

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. Darskoum is not intended for children under 16, and accounts found to belong to a child under that age will be removed.

Your account

You are responsible for the activity that happens under your account, and for keeping your password confidential. Tell us right away if you believe your account has been accessed by someone else. Provide accurate information when you register — an account created with a false identity to impersonate someone, or to evade a suspension, may be removed.

Students and instructors

As a student

A course you enroll in, whether free or paid, is for your own personal learning. Sharing your account, or the video, PDF and quiz content of a course, with people who have not enrolled themselves is not permitted.

As an instructor

You are responsible for everything you publish: the accuracy of what you teach, and for holding whatever rights are needed to upload and sell it — video, images, music, code samples, or any other material in your course. Content that infringes someone else’s copyright, or that you do not have the right to distribute, will be removed, and repeated infringement will result in your account being suspended.

Acceptable use

Across courses, reviews, community posts and comments, the following are not allowed:

• Harassment, hate speech, or content targeting someone’s race, religion, gender, nationality or disability.
• Content that is illegal, fraudulent, or promotes illegal activity.
• Uploading malware, or attempting to gain unauthorized access to the platform or other accounts.
• Impersonating another person, instructor or organization.
• Spam, or using the community and messaging features to advertise unrelated products or services.
• Scraping, reselling, or systematically downloading course content outside of normal use of the platform.

Payments

Darskoum is currently in beta. Course purchases are switched off during this period — no payment is collected and no card details are processed. Browsing courses and, for instructors, publishing courses, are both open now.

Once purchasing opens at official launch, prices are shown in Moroccan dirhams (MAD). Buying a course grants a personal license to access it, not ownership of the material itself. Refund terms will be published on this page before payments go live.

Instructor payouts

Instructors receive the majority share of each sale, with the exact split depending on how the sale was made — shown on the instructor dashboard for each of your courses. Payouts are made once your available balance passes the withdrawal threshold shown on your dashboard.

Certificates

A Darskoum certificate confirms that you completed a specific course’s lessons and, where required, passed its quizzes. It is not an accredited degree or diploma and is not issued by an educational institution — it reflects completion of that course’s content on this platform, nothing more.

Intellectual property

Instructors keep ownership of the courses they create. Darskoum does not claim ownership of your course content by virtue of you publishing it here.

By publishing a course, you grant Darskoum a license to host, stream, and display it to students who enroll, and to use its title, description and thumbnail for promoting the platform (on course listing pages, search results, and shared links). This license ends for a given student’s access if their enrollment is refunded or their account is removed for a violation of these terms.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or remove an account that violates these terms, including the acceptable-use rules above. Where practical we will tell you why. You may stop using Darskoum and close your account at any time by contacting us.

No warranty

Darskoum is provided “as is.” Course content is created by independent instructors, not by Darskoum, and we do not guarantee its accuracy, completeness, or that it will achieve any particular result for you. We aim to keep the platform available and working correctly, but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Darskoum is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Morocco. Any dispute that cannot be resolved directly will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Moroccan courts.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the platform changes — for example, when payments go live at official launch. Meaningful changes will be reflected in the date at the top of this page, and significant ones will be announced on the platform.
